Your contribution at AIG

As a Leader, you are respected for your deep technical expertise and/or ability to oversee programs and processes. You balance the needs of multiple stakeholders, making sound decisions using data, analysis, experience, and judgment, along with a risk mindset. Ultimately, you take ownership for key outcomes.

  • Enables the organization and its leadership to deliver on the Strategic Claims Initiatives and AIG strategy.
  • Establishes partnerships with Claims Leadership and effectively guides and influences alignment of competing initiatives, effective prioritization, execution and stabilization of the same.
  • Develops plans & recommendations for execution of deliverables aligned to defined priorities and directives, including the Strategic Claims Initiatives
  • Identifies opportunities for continuous improvements and presents recommendations to leadership.
  • Supports claims leadership in all aspects of strategy development, alignment and implementation.
  • Collaborates with support functions (IT, HR, Legal, Finance) and peers (i.e. Reporting, Vendor Management,) to develop comprehensive solutions, tools and processes that enable the claims business
  • Develops and establishes new processes, tools and solutions to enable to claims businesses.
  • Oversees / manages defined operational processes / tools / solutions.
  • Facilitates and / or completes required documentation and artifact compilation including but not limited to: Strategy Sessions, Best Practices, Process Documentation, Reporting / Metrics, Operational Management, Training, meeting notes / materials etc.
  • Defines, manages, and implements any additional required/defined objectives as assigned and provides additional "at large" project support as assigned / required
  • Prepares regular communications and status to Leads including Global / Executive Management
  • Identifies and escalates areas of conflict or concern to Sr Leadership
  • Effectively raises solutions with identified issues / risks or problems.
  • Acts as a change agent within both the Claims and Operations teamsWhat we are looking for
  • 10+ years of experience in Project Management, Operations or Change Management
  • 4 Year Degree or Comparable Experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills & attention to details
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Excel and PPT
  • Prior Experience in Insurance, Claims or Underwriting a plus
