Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and strategic Director of Child and Family Development to join our senior leadership team. This individual will play a critical role in guiding the sustainability and growth of our Child and Family Development Division. The Director of Child and Family Development will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and ensuring the integrity of program operations. The Director of Child and Family Development is responsible for establishing and overseeing the agency's Head Start, Early Head Start, and Child Day Care functions including program operations, grant management, fiscal management, supervision of component area staff, and developing and implementing an appropriate strategic vision for the department. The Director of Child and Family Development will also play a key role in risk management and program governance.

As a senior leader, the Director of Child and Family Development will help to support the development of organizational strategy and will align program operations with overall organizational strategy achievement.
  • An undergraduate degree in public administration, school administration, early childhood education, or business management required.
  • Advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience managing human service or child development programs.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years supervising several staff from multiple fields and/or disciplines.
