Your day-to-day:

  • Own allocation strategy and tooling to maximize experience in channels, SPSF in brick/mortar, with inventory turnover improvement and channel service level as core KPI's
  • Lead allocation team in daily/weekly execution to drive revenue and in stocks across channels
  • Own DC pick/capacity planning and store inbound shipment planning in partnership with logistics and store operations
  • Lead planning and allocation team in new store opening activities
  • Drive strategy to leverage data to automate channel/sku allocation decisions with accuracy as we grow our brick and mortar footprint
  • Partner with logistics and engineering to deliver revenue, turnover, and margin improvement through build of future omni-channel capabilities
  • Drive cross functional team in ideation of tactics to deliver improvement in inventory efficiency
  • Lead team in end of life management of inventory liabilities through liquidation/pricing strategies
  • Analyze and distill learnings about product performance and plan/forecast accuracy. Drive and recommend future business strategies based on insights
  • Partner with VP Planning on setting long term roadmap for organizational systems, process, and tools across merchandise planning and allocation
  • Act as the internal planning project manager for future process mapping, tooling integration, and build out of KPI tracking and dash-boarding

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • 8-12 years experience in Merchandise Planning/Allocation/Inventory Strategy/Data Science
  • Minimum of Bachelors Degree
  • Experience leading a team and managing across a highly cross functional/matrixed organization
  • Deep appreciation for data and natural curiosity to dig deep into analysis. Bonus points for working knowledge of SQL/Python/R
  • Expert level understanding of apparel demand forecasting and apparel supply chain
  • Expert level understanding of allocation strategy and multi-channel logistics
  • Project management and systems integration/rollout experience
  • Expertise in optimizing inventory efficiency in a high revenue growth business
  • Experience working in both digital and brick and mortar apparel/accessories planning
  • Passion for continuous learning and building a team with a growth mindset
  • An aptitude for coaching and mentoring
