Responsible for meeting the annual sales objectives set in the business plan. Develop, coordinate, and implement plans designed to increase existing business, capture new opportunities and meet client's expectations. Oversee large pipe prefabrication project sales mostly with EPC's as well as support the company's marketing and communication strategies.
Responsible for managing sales, achieving order intake, and ending backlog
Work closely with the Business Area leadership team to establish, develop and accomplish the Business Plan goals
Identify potential business deals by contacting potential customers
Establish a public relations program in order to enhance the Organization's image and position within the marketplace and the general public.
Coordinate with global managers for effective marketing material distribution.
Determine and manage the Business Development budget
Motivate and support commercial team to build up a high performing team in front of the clients
Remain knowledgeable of market, industry trends, and competitors. Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses.
Develop the annual sales plan in alignment with the organization's strategy and objectives. Gather and analyze customer trends to assist in developing the sales strategic plan
Direct the implementation and execution of sales policies and best practices
Actively support the multi piping factory execution strategy to capture large projects and leverage competitiveness of operations for large US based projects.
Represent the Company at various activities; Meet and network regularly with business leaders and organizations within the industry
Perform other related duties as assigned by Business Area Director or senior leadership
Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or related field
10+ years of business development experience in the oil and gas industry
Proven experience in sales and business development
Experience in delivering projects for Oil & Gas, Hydrocarbon industries and Power generation
Multi-cultural experience having worked and possibly lived in different countries would be a plus
Skills and Abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Excellent negotiation skills, motivation for sales, prospecting skills, sales planning, selling to customer needs, territory management, market knowledge, presentation skills, energy level, meeting sales goals, manners and professionalism.
Better than average written and spoken communication skills.
Highly organized, a good time manager, ability to delegate tasks.

Good multitasker – knows how to manage multi projects or tasks and track issues on a daily basis.

Strong leadership qualities
Ability to travel, more than 50%. Most travel is in Houston/GOM/USA area and overnight. Some of the travel will be international.
