The Director of Brand Experience & Digital Marketingposition will lead the Brand Experience & Digital Marketing team for the Americas to enhance the consumer digital experience and brand engagement across all consumer journey touchpoints including social,, email and public relations. Protects the Weber brand through careful and thoughtful digital and online reputation management. This role will be the point person for America's digital engagement initiatives and CRM, with the focus to drive brand affinity, loyalty and overall consumer lifetime value. This role will be well versed in the latest digital technologies and social media trends, exhibit excellent communication skills, and excel at expressing Weber's vision and priorities creatively. This role will work closely with the Director of Digital Commerce & DTC Innovation and the Director of Digital Commerce, Amazon to help guide, develop and lead the strategy for the Americas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Paid Search/SEO

  • Responsible for leading day to day management of all Paid Search initiatives including 3rd party agency relationships.
  • Lead all SEO execution both internally and externally to drive relevancy of all Weber assets within the digital online space.
  • Work closely with Digital Commerce team and Weber IT to ensure priorities are set and projects are on track to implement and execute against all search initiatives.
  • Serve as America's global representative on Paid/SEO strategies including best practice sharing, education and support of other regions.

Consumer Engagement

  • Work closely with the Consumer Engagement Lead to help develop and execute against all CRM, Email, Registrations & Opt-ins and PR strategies ultimately driving brand affinity, engagement and awareness across all platforms.
  • Partner with Digital Commerce team to drive traffic, conversion and sales across all eCommerce channels.
  • Oversee day-to-day management of campaigns and ensure brand consistency.
  • Works closely with Customer Service Director ensuring consistent messaging and brand engagement with consumers who are interacting directly with Weber.
  • Lead and work closely with the Consumer Engagement Lead and Digital Commerce team to help manage, create and syndicate online content across the organization.
  • Oversee Blog strategy and execution.

Social Media, Influencers, Ratings & Reviews

  • Create and lead long-term strategy for developing a unified voice across the U.S. via all social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube and others.
  • Drives alignment and pushes for social first thinking within the greater integrated marketing effort to bring cohesive Weber brand to market.
  • Challenges teams to have their finger on the pulse of what's happening in broader society, with a point of view on how Weber can shape and participate in those conversations.
  • Oversee day-to-day management of campaigns and ensure brand consistency.
  • Oversee social media and Influencer budget including all third party agency partnerships.
  • Develop & execute holistic ratings and review strategy for U.S. business.
  • Work closely with Social Media Lead to develop discrete action plans to increase quantity, quality, and scoring of ratings and reviews across Weber-owned and non-Weber-owned websites and digital platforms.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • 10+ years' work experience in Marketing, Digital, Social and Consumer Engagement
  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred
  • Prior experience with managing a P&L is required
  • Experience in managing Paid Search and SEO strategy and execution required.
  • Experience developing a CRM solution, managing life stage/email marketing and social engagement, fine-tuning website experience to increase sales/engagement, managing a consumer database, consumer loyalty clubs are required
  • Experience launching/managing a dotcom store is a plus
  • Strong leadership skills and passion for constant evolution of the digital environment and how consumers are finding new ways to engage with brands
  • Ability to clearly articulate a plan and manage the necessary details to deliver the plan by leveraging resources across the organization
  • Optimism and a natural drive to deliver results is a must. Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen
