POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Brand & Digital Marketing provides global leadership of the company strategic communications agenda through the coordinated articulation of the far-reaching messaging of the brand. From a brand perspective, the Director will define, raise awareness of, and increase conversion of the brand, licensors, and product lines. From a digitalmarketing perspective, the Director will increase online sales through Web, social, digital advertising, drip campaigns and otherdigital communications. The Director of Brand & Digital Marketing develops and works collaboratively with other leaders to execute an internal and external brand and implements communications strategies that support the achievement of measurable business goals and mission impact as well as helping grow the organization?s profile and reputation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive sales-increasing marketing strategy & execution, including taking the lead on planning, budgeting and measurement
  • Set and drive toward team goals on an annual basis, while utilizing a data-driven/metrics-driven approach to improvements
  • Research & inform company about channel, customer & consumer opportunities, as well as customer-product-brand/license fit
  • Improve customer experience - registration, onboarding, ordering, paying, receiving/tracking and reordering year on year
  • Manage all marketing aspects and customer touchpoints - showroom, print and digital catalogs, Web site, online campaigns, market and customer segmentations, market research, salessupport, photography and video, product styling, company and product storytelling, partnerships, licenses, internal and external education and all marketing communications
  • Ensure a consistency of vision and brand presentation
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director to marry product and marketing efforts into a seamless customer experience of the brand
  • Contribute to product creation and selection through greater customer and consumer understanding
  • Manage and mentor a team of marketing and creative professionals at varying stages of their careers
  • Successfully articulate the elements of the brand, its licensors, product lines and sub-brands, using internal creatives and external agencies
  • Drives internal alignment for marketing initiatives
  • Actively participates in senior management team meetings, especially on the future strategy of the company
  • Act as the internal cheerleader for the marketing organization and its work
  • Acts as decisive voice in branding and marketing decisions
  • Heavily geared toward data analysis and techniques, providing regularly information to the company on its customers, competitors and the industry
  • Additional duties may be assigned and management retains the discretion to change or add to the duties of this position

REQUIREMENTS :                                   

  • MBA or 10+ years?experience in marketing or branding
  • Thought-leader and visionary
  • Solution oriented, professional and personable
  • Ability to manage and mentor teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and comfort in presenting to groups
  • Experience and success with developing new brands and product lines
  • Traditional CPG, consumer goods, lifestyle, home, furniture or retail brand experiencepreferred
  • Proven success with creating web sites and digitalcampaigns
  • Experience with the production of traditional home marketing materials, such as catalogs
  • Background in leading creative teams and services
  • Ability to quickly pivot and reprioritize when necessary
  • Diplomatic problem-solver and team advocate
  • Proficiency defining and implementing new processes preferred
  • Ability to travel to trade shows out of state up to four times per year
