Provide technical leadership for advanced statistical analyses, actuarial & research methods, and similar to Claim Research team in support of fraud detection modeling, tort and legal research, and research related to Worker's Compensation and other medical claims.
*** Direct construction of statistical analyses including data mining, predictive modeling, and actuarial techniques.
*** Lead efforts in applying, validating, and implementing predictive models.
*** Analyze and interpret data, draw business inferences, and clearly articulate findings for target audience.
*** Develop advanced models and optimize statistical software programs such as R, Statistical Analysis System, Statistical Package Social Sciences, and similar.
*** Serve as subject matter expert on database principles, data profiling, insurance related statistical data modeling, and similar.
*** Stay abreast of industry developments, changing trends, and jurisdictional issues to adjust analysis and benchmarking strategy as appropriate.
