The Director of Adult Critical Care Services is a registered professional nurse who participates as an administrative member of the leadership team. The Director assumes the 24-hour responsibility and direction of the operations of the Adult Critical Care Units as well as direct oversight of one of the individual Adult Critical Care Units as needed. Responsible for the overall management and coordination of comprehensive Adult Critical Care Nursing services by planning, directing, managing, and evaluating the day-to-day operations of the units. Responsible for problem resolution within assigned areas. Maintains current competency with the nursing skills required for the position. Demonstrates knowledge regarding Standards of Care and Standards of Practice in the areas assigned. Maintains calmness in a crisis and directs staff members appropriately. Completes a competency skills checklist within 3 months of employment.
This is a Full Time, No Weekends Nursing Leadership position.

Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada.
Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing
Master’s Degree in Nursing or related health field required (or actively in progress)
Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) or Nursing Administration, or other applicable nursing certification preferred
Minimum 3 years experience in an acute care setting.
Minimum of 1 year management and leadership experience.
Hands-on Critical Care leadership experience is strongly preferred.
