About This Job:

Reporting to the Global Chief Financial Officer, you will play a key role in the accounting andfinance department of ICE.  ICE has created this new position to meet the increasing needs of our growing organization.  With our recent privateequityinvestment, we are adding new talent to the accounting andfinance team to ensure that we have the capacity tosupport key initiatives of the business as well asfinancialreporting and other requirements.  As a dynamic, entrepreneurial organization, you will be part of a team charged with continually improving ourfinancialreporting, accounting andfinance organization as well assupporting the business-decision making of the company by leveraging data and developingbusiness models thatsupport continued growth and increasing profitability.  

Responsibilities 

  • Work closely with the CFO, Controller and Director of Finance to improve accounting and financeprocesses, business analytics and reporting
  • Prepare a wide variety of financial analyses, business models and reports for management and investors
  • Support data-driven initiatives in the business to drive additional revenue and profit
  • Prepare and review accounting reconciliations, journal entries and reports
  • Participate in monthly consolidation and reporting process, including consolidations of international entities
  • Work with accounting personnel on new software system implementation, improving automation and process improvement projects
  • Ensure rigorous adherence to GAAP and internal control requirements
  • Train and mentor accounting and finance staff
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 10+ years of management experience in a dynamic organization
  • Well-rounded accounting and finance skills with exposure to complex businesses with high transaction volumes
  • Strong financial leadership and analytical skills and experience compiling, reviewing and presenting financial information to key constituencies at all levels of an organization
  • Keen eye for detail and ability to review and analyze the work product of others
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills
  • Willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and multi-task as needed to meet deadlines
  • Strong work ethic, time management and prioritization skills
  • Desire to work in a very team-oriented culture and mentor/support other team members
  • High level of ethics and integrity
  • CPA license, public accounting and supervisory experiencepreferred
  • Experience in leading or supporting the transition to a new accounting software system and/or experience in a multi-national organization or travel company is a plus
