Director, National Accounts


We are seeking a National Account Sales Director to lead the National Account Management team. This position is responsible for maintaining existing national account business while cultivating new business within assigned customers.



  • To increase sales and profit margins along with increasing the national profile of the company by selling the top assigned multi-unit operators within the assigned territory.

  • Negotiate and manage customer pricing programs to maximize profitability.

  • Manage custom projects by aligning internal resources and providing effective direction.

  • Plan and implement effective strategies to grow sales and meet territory objectives.

  • Utilize insights and market intelligence to help identify new selling opportunities.

  • Stay apprised of industry news, product trends, and relevant commodity markets.

  • Participate in industry events or conventions deemed necessary to increase company exposure and support customer relations.



  • Demonstrated track record of success and advancement.

  • Must demonstrate the ability to prepare sales presentations with strong value propositions.

  • The ability to communicate and interact with senior level marketing, operations, purchasing, logistics, and personnel.

  • Must have experience managing proprietary and/or custom development projects.

  • A proven track record of exceptional organizational, planning and negotiating skills in addition to exceptional verbal and written communication.

  • Must be highly motivated and results oriented with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Proficiency and familiarization with the use of Microsoft Office software and associated technology.



  • Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university, preferably with an emphasis in Business Administration.

  • Must have minimum of 7 years’ of national account management experience preferably with green industry background
