Director, National Accounts
We are seeking a National Account Sales Director to lead the National Account Management team. This position is responsible for maintaining existing national account business while cultivating new business within assigned customers.
KEY FACTORS FOR SUCCESS:
To increase sales and profit margins along with increasing the national profile of the company by selling the top assigned multi-unit operators within the assigned territory.
Negotiate and manage customer pricing programs to maximize profitability.
Manage custom projects by aligning internal resources and providing effective direction.
Plan and implement effective strategies to grow sales and meet territory objectives.
Utilize insights and market intelligence to help identify new selling opportunities.
Stay apprised of industry news, product trends, and relevant commodity markets.
Participate in industry events or conventions deemed necessary to increase company exposure and support customer relations.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Demonstrated track record of success and advancement.
Must demonstrate the ability to prepare sales presentations with strong value propositions.
The ability to communicate and interact with senior level marketing, operations, purchasing, logistics, and personnel.
Must have experience managing proprietary and/or custom development projects.
A proven track record of exceptional organizational, planning and negotiating skills in addition to exceptional verbal and written communication.
Must be highly motivated and results oriented with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Proficiency and familiarization with the use of Microsoft Office software and associated technology.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university, preferably with an emphasis in Business Administration.
Must have minimum of 7 years’ of national account management experience preferably with green industry background
