Responsibilities

The Director, Multi-Platform Media Strategy is responsible for the overall promotion strategy, on-air planning and paid media planning/buying for all GOLF brands and reports to the Senior Director, Marketing Strategy within the Marketing & Creative Services Department.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic planning of promotion for all GOLF businesses including all owned assets and paid media, and ensure that plans are communicated across departments in a timely manner
  • Guide and lead the efforts of on-air and off-air planning managers to ensure promotion plans are effective, efficient and cohesive across all platforms
  • Oversee the relationship with the media agency of record and foster their knowledge of GOLF
  • Manage the strategic planning, optimization and reporting of all paid social campaigns
  • Develop relationships with colleagues across NBCU and position GOLF as a valued partner in the organization
  • Collaborate with Consumer Engagement leads to develop communications strategies and align on target audience, and to ensure alignment with strategic planning and placement opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Director of Measurement & Analytics in leading marketing attribution strategies to drive post-campaign insights and data-driven decisions, and make recommendations on learnings to improve future promotions strategies
  • Manage, guide and develop the skills of junior level team members on the Multi-Platform Strategy team
  • Management and oversight of ad hoc projects as needed

Qualifications/Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of related experience in media planning for a brand or with an agency
  • Strong media planning background required including programmatic digital & paid social, with solid experience planning/buying compelling, high-impact, integrated media plans
  • Superior knowledge of media principles, optimization, reporting and attribution within traditional and non-traditional media
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and assignments concurrently and keep pace in a quickly moving environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; analytical skills
