About the role

This position is responsible for driving MLS engagement with Zillow Group’s Bridge Interactive brand. Responsibilities includes actively connecting with MLSs to sign up new MLSs up for the Bridge Platform, staying engaged while they are on boarded, and directing and leading the relationships with Bridge’s existing MLS partners. You should have a deep understanding of the MLS and Realtor Association world, be self-driven, persistent and organized, and have strong communication, presentation, and enterprise system sales skills. You will also be skilled in navigating the complex industry political dynamics.

  • Use your industry contacts to establish in-person meetings with MLS leadership

  • Be directly involved with new technology as it begins to impact the industry

  • Extend your real estate software experience to understanding RETS standards and APIs

  • Help MLS executives understand where technology is going and convey the vision for our products

  • Coordinate and integrate marketing, training and outreach events to MLS membership in conjunction with broker sales and marketing team

  • Evangelize the core values that represent the Bridge product strategy and vision

About the team

You will work with a team that has extensive knowledge and history in MLS software sales and the real estate industry. The team is geographically distributed, so you will use your self-starting and organizational skills to work with team members who are in different time zones.

Bridge Interactive develops software that empowers MLSs and brokers to dramatically improve their data management process from listing creation to data license agreements to distribution via RETS and API.

Who you are

  • You have an in-depth knowledge of and 5 year history selling solutions in the Real Estate Industry, specifically the MLSs and Associations.

  • Effective and persuasive negotiation and relationship building skills

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • You can expect to travel extensively as a representative of Zillow. You should expect to travel 35+ weeks per year.

  • You will demonstrate the ability to work in a remote capacity and coordinate amongst staff that are in various remote and office locations

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
