The TSD will co-chair the Telehealth Executive Advisory Committee, ensuring the Committee sets clear strategic goals, aligns on programmatic objectives and prioritizes project implementations. The Director is responsible for driving the UW Medicine telehealth strategy to tactical execution via program development, business plan coordination, and engagement with appropriate UW Medicine entities, affiliated parties, vendors, and external partners. The TSD also partners with Strategic Marketing and Communications to develop marketing and messaging campaigns for Telehealth Services. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and adoption of telehealth best-practices, the TSD provides guidance on service standards, operational controls, workforce training and standard operating procedures. The TSD also outlines and monitors all telehealth program metrics ensuring optimal performance and continuous quality improvement.
The TSD reports to the Associate Vice President, Clinical Operations. The TSD works closely with the Executive Directors of all UW Medicine entities, Department Chairs, Department Directors, the Chief Medical Officer, the Medical Director of Digital Health and the Associate Medical Director of Digital Health to ensure that telehealth services meet the needs of UW Medicine patients, align with the organization's mission, and appropriately engage UW Medicine stakeholders. The position will also work closely withfinancial analysts, technology leaders, legislators, faculty, division administrators, vendors, department managers, marketing, and UW Medicine Advancement. The TSD must maintain confidentiality and positive working relationships at all levels of the organization.
This position requires a high degree of strategic thinking, program management, professional initiative, role flexibility and attention to detail. Activities involve significant team work, strategic knowledge, high-level cooperation and effective communication. Ability to work in a matrixed environment is also necessary.

Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related healthcare field AND at least eight (8) years of successful leadership in hospital, clinic, or health system management with increasing levels of responsibility.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated requirements.
Strong understanding of Ambulatory Network/Providers.
Experience with telehealth services or clinical service line development.
Demonstrated skills in critical thinking, analysis and business plan development.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within complex organizational structures.
Demonstrated skills in strategic planning, to include specific areas of outreach and marketing.
Demonstrated ability to develop teams and manage to successful outcomes.
