In this role, you will be leading all aspects of market access and medical writing activities including strategic content planning, writing, client reviews and medical, legal and regulatory submissions.

What you can expect day-to-day:

Developing high quality promotional healthcare business, market access and medical content on assigned business in multiple print, electronic and/or digital formats
Initiating and leading content development from planning and outline stage through final approval of resource, providing ownership of timelines and through routing process
Developing strong understanding of marketplace and market access concepts, strategic objectives of content, key audiences and partners, as well as product data
Engaging with clients during content development process, MLR reviews and future planning as necessary
Annotating and providing appropriate references for medical, regulatory, legal review submission
Collaborating with internal team members, including payer strategy team, senior leadership, creative, editorial, accounts, project management and other Precision teams
Developing target product profiles and payer value propositions based on disease state unmet needs, comparative profiles and clinical development plans
Participating and contributing to internal and external product strategy meetings including RFP responses and new business pitches

Qualifications:

Minimum required: BA or BS in life sciences discipline, English, or job-related field

Other required: 7+ years’ experience in managed care (market access) or healthcare business writing either in an agency, health plan or managed care publication

Preferred:

Gathering, evaluating, and summarizing healthcare business and scientific literature, including trends and topics as well as clinical, health economic and insights data
Strong working knowledge of healthcare, market access and pharmaceutical industries
