The impact you’ll have

iCrossing is looking for a dynamic Media Planning Director to serve as the leader, within the Media Planning and Strategy practice, for a large team, multiple teams or regional office of media professionals. The position is focused on providing digital media expertise to both internal and external clients, leading and managing the media team, reviewing and driving overall client media strategy, financial management of assigned team and associated clients, and ensuring excellence in delivering display media products.

What you’ll do

  • Oversee client media strategy and annual planning from beginning through final delivery
  • Manage team of more junior media strategists and planners
  • Lead client media strategy sessions and supports team in presentation of large scale client initiatives
  • Drive innovation/experimentation efforts in digital advertising
  • Prepare staffing requirements for new business
  • Financial management of team resources
  • Manage negotiations for high value and/or complex packages
  • Responsible for Media Audit success and direction of team in material preparation for audit needs

Who you are

  • You have 10+ years experience in field of online advertising, previously in an AMD role
  • You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • You are experienced working specifically within a digital display media department
  • You have experience working in both direct response and brand driven media environments
  • You can manage and lead in a multi?team environment
  • You have a passion for digital marketing
  • You are detail oriented and organized
  • You have proven negotiation skills and sales relationships
  • You’ve experienced agency financial principals
  • You have strong skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and with general Web based interfaces
  • You have experience working with DART for Advertisers or other relevant 3rd party ad server
