Position Summary

The Director of Marketing Enablement will provide proactive, insightful, and actionable recommendations to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Marketing Leadership Team based on thorough analysis of data and intelligence across multiple disciplines (innovation, strategic insights, brands, digital, public relations). Continuously and rigorously analyze, evaluate and fill a steady pipeline of continuous improvement opportunities to maximize and enhance value for CBI. Provide direct support to CMO by critically reviewing regular reporting of CBI corporate performance for accuracy and strategic alignment, creating presentations for CMO as needed for speaking engagements, as well as support planning and execution of CBI meetings and conferences.


  • Drive the business rhythm of the department taking ownership of the Commercial Planning calendar and the key milestones, meetings, and deliverables
  • Responsible for strategic framing of portfolio strategy, building framework, driving cross functional input and creating story line to socialize with Senior Management
  • Portfolio Management lead responsible for recommending brand roles, identifying white space and prioritizing key initiatives across the portfolio / department
  • Works as an internal consultant driving process improvement and acting as a cross functional link to other departments
  • Direct Support for CMO - Work with and support CMO on critical deliverables
  • Partner with Communications team to create CMO presentations for Leadership Team, conferences, or any ad hoc keynote speaking engagements ensuring accuracy and strategic messaging of materials
  • Provide proactive, insightful, and actionable recommendations to CMO and Marketing Leadership Team based on a thorough analysis of data and intelligence across multiple functions
  • Conduct regular visits in market with CBI, wholesalers, and key customers to gather market intelligence first-hand
  • Work with CMO on budget setting and long-range planning process for CBI Marketing
  • Provide CMO with project updates and status of strategic initiatives
  • Other initiatives as they arise

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 5 years in a consumer-packaged goods environment with 3 or more years of strategy and/or research and insights experience
  • Strong business/commercial experience; action oriented
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong understanding of brand and sales planning and working with research methodologies; analyzing and interpreting data
  • Ability to communicate and influence across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage and lead several projects in various stages and adhere to deadlines, attention to detail, customer service oriented, analytical, work independently
  • Strong Excel and Power point skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA preferred
  • Experience in marketing & strategy within the alcohol beverage industry

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time and work on a computer for extended periods
