Mitel is seeking a Director, Demand Generation, Unified Communications, who will be responsible for overseeing the customer acquisition strategies for unified communications & collaboration, contact center, and professional services.

This position will work across all levels of the organization to drive demand for Mitel’s private cloud and on-site solutions. This position is a front-line role and requires the ability to function strategically as well as tactically. He/she will guide the organization to drive demand, produce quality content, seek the insight of analytics, and relentlessly measure the trajectory of MQLs and SQLs. The ideal candidate will be able to segment usage data to identify new targets and work directly and via channel partners to help drive the qualified sales funnel forward. The role will partnerclosely with the broader Sales & Marketing organization as well as respective portfolio General Managers to align execution priorities against thestated company strategy.

Ideal location for this position is Plano, Texas but we are open to consider other locations.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver on planned MQL and SQL lead numbers by executing best practice demand generation strategies via tactics such as ABM, retargeting, content syndication, webinars, email marketing, PPC, direct mail, paid advertising, SEO and events.
  • Oversee a data-driven demand generation program, delivering on metrics for measuring campaign tactics, ROI and success and sharing performance details.
  • Establish and optimize KPI’s by building weekly and monthly reports across all demand generation channels. This information must be shared in a transparent and consistent process via reports across the Marketing, Sales and Product organizations to drive continued improvement.
  • Proactively manage budget for your functional area and bring forward additional business case opportunities for growth as appropriate basedon driving an ROI centric plan.
  • Partner with Sales Ops and Product Management/Marketing to oversee funnel management for unified communications & collaboration, contact center, and professional services in salesforce.com and own lead management work to drive funnel optimization and acceleration for those solutions.
  • Understand and enable Mitel channels to measurably contribute to the funnel generation of net new opportunities.
  • Leverage agencies and contractors to streamline and optimize demand programs, increase impact and innovate in new areas.

Qualifications

  • Proven background in demand generation, customer segmentation, and content marketing/ABM initiatives. Fluent across marketing automation, CRM, ABM, web analytics and BI platforms and capabilities (Salesforce, Marketo, Bizible, Sitecore, Adobe, etc)
  • Exceptional presentation and writing skills. Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, influencing and negotiating skills
  • 5+ years leadership experience managing teams; remote and global teams a plus
  • Industry experience in telecommunications and/or technology
  • Domain expertise across IT decision making for both SMBs and enterprises as they segue to public and private cloud technologies. Experience in the communications and collaboration segment a plus
  • Ability to define, execute and manage field level campaigns which engage extended channel partners to drive consideration and gain market share
  • Demonstrated interaction, interface and project management skills with cross-functional teams including Product Management/Marketing, Sales, Sales Ops, IT, channel partners and marketing agencies
  • Detail-oriented, metrics driven
