Overview:
• This team is responsible for:
o Driving MasterCard market share by successfully winning new co-brand programs
o Retaining current MasterCard co-brand programs
o Achieving co-brand GDV goals

• The person in this role will:
o Win new co-brand partnerships
o Retain current co-brand programs
o Create relationships in the merchant marketplace
o Continue relationships with issuers and consultants in the co-brand space
o Produce creative financial models

Role:
• Execute co-brand strategy focused on increasing consumer credit GDV growth rates and market share
Achieve GDV and new-to-MasterCard co-brand goal
• Develop and manage a pipeline of co-brand prospects
• Lead deal efforts in key co-brand industry verticals: respond to RFPs, draft sales pitch documents
Construct deal terms and partnership/commercial agreements with potential partners and successfully negotiate closure in line with MasterCard strategic priorities and revenue and profitability targets
• Partner with USMD Account Teams in prospecting and relationship building for new co-brands.
• Build financial models and participate in contract negotiations

All About You:
• Business development experience with demonstrated success; payments industry experience strongly preferred
• Strong track record of driving tangible business results
• Strong financial background, modeling, developing business cases
• Sound business judgment with established strategic/conceptual thinking and strategic planning skills
• Excellent project management skills, with strong problem solving, analytical, quantitative communication and organizational skills
• Excellent presentation skills, both drafting and presenting
• First class selling skills:
o Demonstrates the ability to initiate, pursue and close a sale
o Strong influencing and negotiation skills
o Ability to think from the perspective of the customer
o Deal structuring, negotiation, documentation and execution
• Sharp business acumen
? Possess excellent relationship management skills:
? Internal advocate for customer account to ensure organization is responsive to needs of client
? Effectively builds business partnerships with customers, proactively and as part of deal process
? Builds consensus with others to gain cooperation
? Develops and leverages key relationships
? Understands the diverse needs and objectives of various stakeholders
? Superior knowledge of consumer credit card business; experience in co-brands or similar card partnership development is preferred
? Demonstrated cross functional knowledge of card business, i.e. marketing, operations, risk. Can effectively represent MasterCard and its assets with external partners
• Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities
•Bachelor'sdegreerequired. Master'sdegreepreferred.
