Job Description:

JENSEN HUGHES is seeking an Office Director to manage our operations in Las Vegas, NV. The Director will oversee operations, mentor staff and maximize the profitability and revenue of the Las Vegas area offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote a positive and healthy office culture around company core values

  • Identify and facilitate opportunities for revenue growth, helping to achieve the office revenue goal.

  • Lead and mentor office staff.

  • Communicate with Regional leaders and office leaders to effectively matrix and leverage talent with workload.

  • Manage client expectations and relationships through clear and thoughtful communication and assist team members in doing the same.

  • Maintain good working relationships with clients and colleagues to complete tasks on time and on budget.

  • Establish credibility with clients by managing close association with professional/trade organizations, code-making bodies, and regulatory agencies.

  • Work closely with regional leadership, office management, project managers and administrative staff to implement the business metrics functions associated with our Project Management Standards.

  • Serve as a business resource to the regions, offices, project managers and office administrators.

  • Train staff on business processes and procedures.

  • Maintain a working knowledge of company policies, procedures and guidelines.

  • Recommend improvement in company business processes and procedures to improve efficiency of operations.

  • Accountable for meeting office utilization, revenue, and profitability goals assigned (clients/accounts).

  • Accountable for sustaining working capital (Billed and Unbilled DSO) to values aligning with company and regional targets.

  • Assist Regional VP's/Senior Operational VP's with recruiting efforts to identify potential candidates to maintain adequate level of staff resources and meet anticipated growth expectations.

Requirements:

  • Seven (7) or more years of experience in project management, business administrative or other equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) from a university preferably with Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another related field.
  • Demonstrated capabilities in leadership directly supervising staff.
  • Demonstrated capabilities in professional service business processes.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Professional Engineering License preferred.
