POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of IT Infrastructure, Security, and Operations is a senior IT leader responsible for the strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement of enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, and end-user services across ODW.

This role transforms infrastructure into a security-first, operations-aligned capability, ensuring reliable, scalable, and secure technology platforms that support:
  • Multi-Site Warehouse operations (WMS, automation, site infrastructure)
  • Transportation management (TMS, integrations, carrier connectivity, visibility platforms)
  • Corporate Offices

The Director will:
  • Own and mature the enterprise cybersecurity program
  • Lead infrastructure, network, and service delivery across corporate, warehouse, and transportation operations
  • Build strong relationships with Operations (Warehouse + Transportation), IT, and executive leadership
  • Drive vendor strategy and financial discipline (OPEX/CAPEX)
  • Ensure technology enables growth, customer onboarding, and day-to-day operational excellence

Cybersecurity Leadership
  • Define and execute the enterprise cybersecurity strategy and roadmap
  • Establish a risk-based security program aligned to frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO)
  • Oversee:
    • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
    • Network, endpoint, and cloud security
    • Threat detection, incident response, and recovery
    • Vulnerability management across warehouse and transportation platforms
  • Ensure protection of:
    • Operational systems
    • Customer and ODW data
    • Integration endpoints
  • Partner with business leaders to translate security risks into actionable plans
  • Lead security awareness and compliance initiatives

Infrastructure & Network Strategy
  • Own architecture and lifecycle of:
    • Cloud and on-prem infrastructure
    • Network connectivity across warehouses, offices, and transportation operations
    • Unified communications across all sites
  • Ensure high availability and performance for:
    • Warehouse environments
    • Transportation platforms
  • Drive modernization and standardization (cloud adoption, automation, resiliency)
  1. Service Management & End-User Experience
  • Lead the Service Desk with a focus on:
    • Responsiveness and SLA performance
    • User experience across corporate, warehouse, and transportation teams
  • Drive ITIL-based service management with clear metrics and continuous improvement plans

Vendor & Partner Management
  • Own strategic relationships with vendors supporting:
    • Infrastructure and cloud platforms
    • Cybersecurity tools and services
    • Warehouse and transportation technology ecosystems
  • Manage carrier/partner connectivity vendors
  • Drive vendor accountability through:
    • SLAs and KPIs
    • Cost optimization
    • Consolidation and simplification strategies
  • Lead contract negotiations and performance governance

Financial Management (OPEX & CAPEX)
  • Develop and manage budgets across infrastructure and security domains
  • Align spend to:
    • Risk mitigation
    • Operational reliability
    • Growth and customer onboarding scalability
  • Build multi-year investment roadmaps tied to business strategy
  • Drive cost transparency and ROI measurement

Leadership & Relationship Management
  • Build and lead a high-performing, service-oriented team
  • Establish strong partnerships with:
    • Warehouse Operations leadership
    • Transportation Management leadership
    • Application development and integration teams
    • Executive stakeholders
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on technology, risk, and operational enablement

Endpoint Management
  • Own the enterprise endpoint management strategy across corporate and operational environments (workstations, laptops, RF's, rugged/warehouse devices where applicable)
  • Establish and maintain accurate hardware/software inventory and asset lifecycle data, including procurement intake, assignment, and disposal
  • Define standard builds, application packaging, and deployment pathing to ensure consistent configurations and rapid onboarding

Education and ExperienceRequired
  • 10 + years of IT experience with leadership across infrastructure and cybersecurity
  • Proven experience supporting mission-critical operational systems
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Cybersecurity frameworks
    • Network and cloud infrastructure
    • IT service management (ITIL )
  • Experience in multi-site, operations-heavy environments
  • Demonstrated success managing vendors, contracts, and service performance
  • Strong financial acumen managing OPEX and CAPEX budgets

Preferred
  • Experience in 3PL, logistics, or supply chain environments
  • Certifications:
    • CISSP, CISM, or equivalent
    • ITIL, AWS/Azure, networking certifications
  • ServiceNow Platform
