Hologic is aggressively seeking an outstanding Director, Integrated Brand Marketing (reports to V.P. Worldwide Marketing) to grow our current U.S. market share leadership and lead the Global expansion of Strategic brands – ThinPrep, Aptima, Panther and Rapid fFN. The successful candidate will have a track record of growing brands with multiple target audiences (e.g., Health Care Providers, Lab Directors, KOL’s, patients/consumers) in highly competitive categories. Experience across multiple categories and channels (e.g., Diagnostics, Pharma, Consumer Healthcare and/or Consumer Packaged Goods) is a major positive differentiator.
 
Primary responsibilities include ensuring brand equity alignment across multiple target audiences in the U.S. and consistent brand equity introduction and expansion globally. Candidate will also have responsibility for coordinating overall external communication strategy (e.g., PR, earned media, online, conferences, etc.) for our strategic brands. The Director, Integrated Brand Marketing will be the primary interface with all external agency partners and have significant impact on other Hologic Divisions via best practice sharing and agency coordination to leverage our large marketing investments.
 
Additional responsibilities include:
Establish, lead and grow a highly effective team in the development and execution of brand marketing messages designed to exceed business goals and objectives.
Develop a vision for product positioning built on the target profile, key claims and documented market insight.
Responsible for leading and executing global media strategy.
Establish and measure KPI’s on an ongoing basis to monitor and adjust U.S. and global media execution to meet or exceed plan.
Motivate, manage, coach and mentor direct reports, including recruitment, performance and talent management.
Primary interface for major global markets, particularly the US and European markets.
Ensure that milestones are met in line with finance, people and time allocations.
Qualifications:

Experienced leader with proven results in leading teams, making authoritative business decisions, and accounting for results.
Highly accountable, with experience in managing projects with ambitious milestones under pressure, having accomplished milestones on time and on budget.
Experience in global launches is highly valued.
Relevant molecular diagnostic experience preferred but not required.
 
Education:
BA/BS in Business Administration or Science required; MBA, or advanced degree and experience are preferred.
 
Experience:
Minimum of 12+ years related business experience with proven track record in commercial and/or sales management at the regional level, global marketing, and product development leadership roles within clinical diagnostic, medical device or pharmaceutical companies. Diagnostic marketing experience considered a plus.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills for a wide variety of audiences, including senior management.
