YOUR ROLE

  • Design risk management strategies with key focus on reducing total cost of risk
  • Design risk management strategies with key focus on reducing total cost of risk
  • Oversee all insurance placements for North America operations, and ensure cohesive global coverage by collaborating with colleagues at European headquarters • Manage relationships with more than a dozen insurance companies and serve as a board memeber for Henkel's group Captive
  • Manage all North American insurance claims spanning back 20 years
  • Oversee and coordinate insurance brokerage relationships, 3rd party claim administration relationships, and 3rd party actuarial services
  • Partner with corporate SHE (safety, health & environment) to help prevent/reduce losses and help ensure full compliance with internal safety guidelines.
  • Oversee the issuance of thousands of certificates of insurance annually.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field; Masters degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 10-15 years related insurance experience, with a preference for prior work as an underwriter and as a risk manager
  • CPCU or other insurance designations
  • Broad knowledge and experience in all aspects of insurance/risk management required
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; Excellent client counseling skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
