Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures (JHTV) supports the commercialization of university technology through technology licensing, the development of sponsored research agreements and venture creation. JHTV serves as a business advisor to investigators whose research has commercial potential and provides a set of specific resources to aid them, including physical space though its FastForward innovation hubs, translational and venture funding support, and professional services (e.g. mentorship, pro bono legal and accounting services, and educational programming).
The Director, Information Technology Development is responsible for cultivating high-potential information technology and data science technologies at the university through consultation with faculty and leveraging the resources of JHTV and FastForward. Primary areas of responsibility:
