The Director of Clinical Informatics provides clinical leadership and Informatics expertise to multiple mission critical clinical systems with broad organizational impact. This position will be responsible for change management and continuous improvement of clinical technology systems at UHS. Facilitates development of Clinical Computer Information Systems (CIS) integration plans, strategies, and overall applications architecture. Facilitates the development and implementation of clinical process redesign and information flow as it relates to health systems. Provides direction in developing Clinical Information Systems strategic and tactical plans, including project proposals, budgets, implementation strategies, etc. Develops plans and strategies for gaining provider and clinical staff acceptance and ongoing use of Clinical Information Systems.
Bachelor's Degree in Nusring minimum 5 years relevant systems experience to include: clinical experience, knowledge of clinical/healthcare information systems (physician, nursing, and hospital), project management experience, clinical information analyst experience, information systems experience.
Master's degree in Nursing.
NYS RN or eligible
