Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Helps establish and maintain ongoing effective communication among management and employees, and encourages a culture of cooperation, team work and open and effective communication at all levels of the organization
  • Advises all levels of management of appropriate resolution to employee relations issues
  • Develop and support training and development initiatives
  • Identifies opportunities and makes recommendations for specific employee training and development programs
  • Recommends new approaches, polices, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed
  • Current knowledge of all HR areas including employment law, federal/state laws, Compensation EEO, OSHA, Workers Compensation, Employee Leave and other compliance issues
  • Collaborate with NDX Senior Leadership, Operations Directors, General Managers, and Managers in developing and tracking execution of NDX’s Strategic Business Plan, ensuring robust alignment with business priorities, group and corporate guidelines
  • Translate the business needs into HR strategic and operational plans establishing key metrics and performance tracking processes
  • Lead Workforce Planning and Talent Management processes to identify and address competency, knowledge and talent gaps. Areas of activities will include staffing, talent development and succession planning programs
  • Develop and execute in partnership with assigned locations and functional areas
  • Develop robust action plans to improve Employee Engagement
  • Continually assess the competitiveness of all programs and practices against the relevant comparable companies, industries and markets
  • Establish credibility throughout the organization with management and the employees in order to be an effective listener and problem solver of people issues
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations. Partner with legal department as needed/required
  • Develop the human resources organization, ensuring strong competencies in leadership and organization development, compensation strategy and administration, HR systems and talent management
  • Participate in the strategic direction and date-to-day leadership of the global HR function
  • Develops recruiting and sourcing strategies and related action plans while implementing best practices to support the talent needs of the organization
  • Works with HR team and management on compensation projects (bonus, salary review and market surveys)
  • Coaches and consults with HR managers, managers and employee on issues including performance management, terminations, career development, harassment, discrimination, FMLA and corrective action issues
  • Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Coordinates the development, and implementation of operations goals, department goals, objectives and systems that directly impact HR strategy and overall business plans for the company
  • Ensure that the HR strategy reflects NDX’s mission and values
  • Works in conjunction with Talent Acquisition in the development of job descriptions including coding of FLSA status
  • Develops appropriate action plans to: mitigate business risks; create a productive working environment; improve retention, and continuously develop the people in the business
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

  • Required: 4-yeardegree in Human Resource related field or a combination of business degree and experience
  • Preferred: Master’s degree
  • Required: Minimum 10 years of work experience with progressive HR leadership
  • Required: Minimum 5 years of experience in complex, matrix, international environment
  • Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Required: Knowledge of federal and state laws regarding HR issues
  • Required: Strong organizational skills, and ability to adjust priorities rapidly
  • Required: Ability to develop and support high-performing teams
  • Required: Knowledge of organization development and coaching methods
  • Required: Ability to travel on average 30% for meetings and support as needed
  • Required: Minimum 5 years of Merger and Acquisition experience with leadership responsibility
  • Highly Preferred: Experience working with global teams specifically APAC
  • Highly Preferred: 6 – years manufacturing or healthcare industry experience
  • Required: Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record per NDX standards
