Job Description:

Role Summary:?

The Director, Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for providing strategic and tactical human resources direction, advice and support to senior management of assigned Divisions. This role will collaborate with leaders to identify and implement a talent strategy that aligns with strategic business plans as well as provide internal consultingsupport for key HR and division-wide initiatives. The position reports to the AVP, Human Resources Business Partner.?



Main Accountabilities:?

•Collaborate with leaders to identify and execute on key talent strategies that support the achievement of overall divisional strategic objectives. Participate in the development of HR requirements to support and drive the business plans as it relates to the operating model, attracting, developing & retaining talent and the culture strategy in order to enhance both capabilities and business performance outcomes?

•Manage mid and large size business unit specific and cross-functional HR projects. Project areas could include organizational design & development, talent management & retention and change management initiatives?

•Focus on building a high performance organization by working with leaders, employees and HR colleagues within the HR Centers of Expertise (CoEs) to ensure successful implementation of HR practices and programs?

•Lead key talent cycles in partnership with respective HR Business Partners and CoE colleagues. Cycles include talent management & review, succession management, performance management, and annual compensation review. Analyze and report on relevant data required during cycles to ensure outcomes align with pay for performance & talent development philosophies.?

•Work across multiple departments and functions to solve complex talent and engagement issues?

•Partner with business leaders to provide organizational development consultation and advice related to organizational change and organizational structures?

•Provides change management and communication support?

•Identifies HR trends and issues including possible management action outcomes?

•Researches external best practices and trends?


Competencies and Requirements:?

•A minimum of 10 years of experience in Human Resources with strong HR Business Partner experiencepreferred?

•Experience supporting Distribution teams a strong plus?

•Broad understanding of all HR disciplines (Compensation, recruiting, etc.)?

•Experience in building, linking and implementing programs and processes to business strategy?

•Proven success working with multi-faceted, complex organizations in implementing core talent management processes?

•Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making skills required?

•Demonstrated ability to execute quickly, effectively and consistently?

•Experience developing strong and productive working relationships with key stakeholders and peers?

•Must have exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written?

•Coaching and counseling skills required?

•Strong impact and influence skills required?

•Ability to manage in a virtual team environment?

•Confidence interacting with senior management?

•Proficient user of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and HRIS systems
