We are looking for a dynamic, talented individual to join our team as Director, HR Systems. This individual will guide us through the company’s transition to a new cloud based HR system and lead efforts to modernize and enhance HR system and related processes to drive business results and people development.
This role reports into our VP, Compensation, Benefits, Systems and Talent Acquisition. The right candidate will be able to come into our fast-paced environment, quickly build strong relationships, and develop and execute against the HR Systems roadmap.
This role will be critical in implementing Oracle HCM/Fusion and the JobVite full suite of products. This role will oversee this project and the continued management and development of our HR Systems including guiding managers through HR transactional processes. There will be a large amount of change management involved in this role as new systems and processes are brought to life.
-Subject Matter expert in Oracle HCM and JobVite, along with other systems and tools that may be utilized to support HR processes
-Continual monitoring for ways to simplify all Global HR processes and create a positive user experience as the process owner
-Ensure global HR teams are fully trained to support regional needs
-Ownership of end-to-end experience related to new hire on-boarding proces
-Manage integrations with downstream systems
-Support upgrades, enhancements, testing, validation and overall performance of systems; analyze software releases to assess impact of new features with our IT team
-Manage security settings, create new user accounts, update data tables, configure processes and tools, troubleshoot issues, etc.
-Implement mass data uploads and interfaces with our IT team
-Manage data integrity, record-keeping and records retention and associated audit documentation
-Develop and deliver effective communications and training for users to optimize the effectiveness of systems and tools
-Effectively control and monitor the administration of all HR transactional activities globally
-Ownership of all master data elements from HR perspective to include: championing and own data integrity efforts for all HR Systems by ensuring data entry processes, procedures are implemented correctly to support dissemination of Employee Master Data to other systems with the highest accuracy and completeness; This may involve developing clear processes and approvals for data and process integrity
-Lead the development and training of HR systems policies and procedure
-Provide direction to data entry staff to ensure that data procedures are followed including set up of new employee records, job codes, cost centers and other HR data fields
-Ensure that the function delivers a customer focused and forward-thinking service to all customers, with the goal of providing an exceptional employee experience.
-Continual monitoring for ways to simplify all HR processes and create a positive user experience
-Responsible for reporting and delivering on HR Analytics through metrics and dashboards and summaries of findings and trends for HR, Executives, Department heads and managers.
-Develop on-going partnerships with our IT, Payroll and Accounting teams as well as outside consultants and vendors to ensure HR transactions, reporting and data meet the highest standards
-Train internal partners such as HR Business partners and Compensation on new systems and reports
-Analyze situations and issues, recognize strategic implications, and apply both specialized expertise and a broader HR knowledge framework to define problems, priorities and desired outcomes
-Management of HR Systems team (currently one direct report)
Experience And Education:
· 8-10 years HR Systems experience with 2+ years in a leadership role while managing a team
· Oracle EBS and Oracle HCM/Fusion Cloud experience
· Strong Collaboration Skills, including an ability to work cross-functionally and cross regionally to best understand various requirements to best deliver services and a consistent employee experience
· Demonstrated critical thinking and effective problem solving skills
