We’re looking for a Director of HR Consulting for our Managed Services business. In this role, you will manage the teams accountable for the HR consulting and advisory services for our Managed Service clients, including best practice guidance on employee relations matters, leave management, compliance, performance management, job design, talent strategy, culture andother workplace matters. The role requires a seasoned HR Consulting leader with a deep understanding of HR process, compliance, and the regulatory environment. As the Director of HR Consulting, you will also be responsible for building HR Consulting processes and a client interaction model that scales efficiently while providing clients a best-in-class HR consultingexperience. 


  • Develop scalable processes that deliver high-quality HR consulting services while improving client outcomes
  • Partner with in-house or external resources to identify, design and deploy risk management and best practice HR strategies to ensure optimal handling of complex HR consulting services for our clients
  • Manage and provide guidance to a team of HR Consultants, and serve as escalation point for complicated HR and employee relations matters impacting client results
  • Analyze and assess current offering against emerging regulations to ensure full compliance
  • Identify efficiency opportunities and build the supporting business cases to action them
  • Champion thought leadership on HR best practices, including authoring and ghost-writing blogs, white papers and other client-facing resources, and presenting on client/prospect webinars and at seminars and conferences
  • Drive a delightful customer experience
  • Collaborate with our Product, Sales, Operations, and Legal/Compliance team
  • Bring clear thinking and excellent problem-solving skills to a range of other business challenges that may arise


  • 10+ years HR or HR Consultingexperience, preferably in a managed services or professional employer organization
  • Strong leadership skills, experience leading HR or HR consulting teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including proven ability to manage sensitive conversations in high-stakes situations
  • Business acumen, including resource management, business planning and complex problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and effectively lead C-level interactions to align and design people practices to drive business results
  • Background in driving efficiencies and building process
  • Deep HR compliance/risk management knowledge
  • Undergraduatedegreerequired, graduate degree strongly preferred with current SPHR certification or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • A positive can-do attitude and contagious energy
