The Director of Health Information provides a broad scale, comprehensive management of health information management services throughout the Corporation. These services include: developing major goals, setting objectives, organizing effective production efforts, recruiting, developing and motivating staff, evaluating results and implementing necessary changes and formulating and executing annual budgets. The Director of Health Information Management plays an integral role in supporting the clinical missions of the Corporation by providing extensive and comprehensive health information management services, including complete operation responsibility for documentation review, coding, management of confidential information, timely record completion, and record management and retention.
