Refresh the Guiding Stars strategy to bring the program into an era of personalization, radical transparency and digital engagement. Drive the evolution of the business plan to put the program on a growth trajectory. Expand client base in multiple sectors and evaluate appropriate partnership opportunities in various sectors e.g. government, medical and pharma sectors, universities. Lead the Guiding Stars team and revisit the team structure and talent to build a team that is more technologically and IT efficient and better suited to sell and market the program.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
> Set strategic direction. Collaborate to determine critical priorities, long-term goals and annual targets. Work in close partnership with personalization, loyalty, digital labs and marketing teams.
> Evaluate, design and implement improvements to the process and system for the Guiding Stars ratings, data accuracy, speed and efficiency.
> Serve as AD expert on this one-of-a-kind, patented nutrition navigation system that maintains nutritional data and provides ratings on over 150,000 products.
> Become a customer service focused team. Structure and lead negotiations on new partnerships and contract renewals. Evaluate ROI of existing client list and set goals for strategic growth with targeted list of clients.
> Forecast operations and set key revenue and business sector targets. Develop and meet approx $1.5 million annual operating budgets and forecasts. Manage payroll, expenses and revenue.
> Develop and manage Intellectual Property including patents, trademarks, scientific studies, etc.
> Nurture relationship with Scientific Advisory Panel of 6 expert consultants to ensure continued integrity of the program. Evaluate and pursue specific algorithm changes.
> Evaluate partnerships with outside resources including business consultants, lawyers, web resources, PR agency, consulting RDs to ensure growth of the Guiding Stars program.
> Increase strong public image and brand awareness through media relations, social media, endorsements and outreach to key stakeholders.
> Manage staffing levels to achieve client expectations and contractual obligations. Hire, train, and develop associates. Requirements Basic Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent; MBA preferred.
