Purpose:

Reporting to the Head of Global Wealth and International Structuring, the incumbent will connect Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) individuals and their family offices to opportunities at Scotiabank while acting as a strategic enabler in building the business offering.

Key Job Accountabilities:

The incumbent will build client relationships by assessing the complex needs of UHNW individuals and provide comprehensive advice on a broad range of Bank-wide products and services. The role will require the incumbent to assess, propose, and implement business and product innovations.

• A proven track record and relevant experience in sales, wealth management, and relationship building activities

• 7+ years of industry experience

• Superior abilities to understand, develop, and implement holistic wealth planning solutions for UHNW clients

• First class presentation and communication skills, combined with strong listening capabilities that will guide and influence internal and external stakeholders

• Drive and motivation to work in a target-driven and high performance culture

• Entrepreneurial and innovative approach in the identification of business opportunities

• Highest professional work ethic and standards, decisiveness, innovative thinking, and ability to work under pressure

• High level of professional and personal integrity and compliance standards that ensure all work activities are performed in line with internal, external, and regulatory guidelines

• Fluency in English; Spanish or Portuguese as second language is also an asset

Education:

• MBA or degree from a university or an institute of higher education

• CFA charter holder is an asset but not a necessary condition
