Based in Sunnyvale, CA. The Director Global HR Business Partner will provide HRsupport to Juniper’s Technology and Products teams and will work closely with the VPs and their direct reports. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing successful talent and leadership programs, organizational development/effectiveness strategies, employee engagement, company-wide HR initiatives and exemplifying the Juniper Way.

Responsibilities:


Strategy and organizational effectiveness
This position partners with senior leaders to diagnose the global talent implications within the business units and functional organizations.

Leadership Effectiveness
Partners with the Juniper Learning and Organizational Development team to provide focus and appropriate resources for the leadership needs. Initiatives include on-boarding newly hired or promoted senior leaders and developing bench strength for succession and talent management.

HR Functional Effectiveness
Responsible for the successful implementation of the processes, frameworks and tools in support of the business needs in the areas of staffing and university relations, career and leadership development, compensation, performance management, employee development and talent (retention and attrition) management, organization design and M&A.

Employee Resource Management
Partners with business leaders to create high performing organizations with a focus on employee engagement and team effectiveness

Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business and human resources MBA preferred
A minimum of 10+years related experience
Experience and credibility as a business partner in an environment where the ability to influence and build relationships is critical
Demonstrated ability to provide practical, solution-driven initiatives and human resource processes

Understanding of the M&A process: including analysis, due diligence and integration

Credibility as a trusted advisor and confidant to senior management
Knowledge of organizational development and performance management techniques and models
Strong business acumen and project management skills
Successful teaming with colleagues with a strong results orientation
Highly effective communicator
A high energy individual capable of taking control of their responsibilities and establishing him/herself as a credible strategic business partner
