Ideal individual will independently manage high volume general liability and workers compensationclaims for major national broker while working at a strategic level to develop and retain consultative, partnership relationships with customers, prospects and markets. Essential functions: Manage assigned claims. Manage client relationships to understand client goals and expectations. Report all general liabilityclaims on behalf of clients to the client?s respective insurers. Provide services, including conducting claim reviews with clients and their respective insurers, through all phases of the claim handling process, including claims negotiation and settlement and resolution of such coverage issues in favor of clients. Ensure that clients realize consistently superior loss adjustment/reserve reduction experiences. Advocate on behalf of clients to maximize coverage under client liability policy(s) and to minimize losses under workers compensation policy. Work closely with risk control and analytics groups to achieve results. Work with team members at all levels to ensure client satisfaction. Proactively address client issues when possible. Immediately address matters impacting customer satisfaction as they arise. Manage and grow underwriter/carrier/broker relationships to ensure understanding of goals and expectations. Maintain system reports and rectify open items in a timely manner. Analyze reports, examining factors including, but not limited to areas for potential additional client service and marketing results. Work with appropriate company resources to ensure they have adequate and accurate information to properly canvass the marketplace and develop prospects where applicable. Provide industry and client intelligence necessary to successfully generate leads and covert into clients.
Bachelor's Degree, JD a plus. 5-7years of general liability and workers compensationclaims, carrier, and/or broker experience.
