Description JOB SUMMARY:
Lead team of 8-10 Financial Planning & Analysis professionals and managers that are responsible for providing business insight based on deep and thorough analysis of the company’s financial results. Create strategic vision for finance team, identifying current gaps and gaining alignment from broader finance team. Position also leads the subsequent planning and forecasting processes across the division. Specific activities include: annual budgeting process, monthly/quarterly forecasting, monthly reporting & analysis, profitability by customer including management of all customer programming, new business opportunity investment/analysis for all business/channel teams, modeling out financial impact of strategic planning process.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Establish the finance processes to meet the organizations strategic goals; identify and resolve issues around data integrity and availability for business profitability
•As a critical leader within the Global Finance Leadership team, exercise initiative, creativity, people development and leadership. Be a significant participate in the development of short and long term objectives and strategies for the global finance function.
•Build high performing work team that will be a critical asset to managing the company’s short term and long term financial performance.
•On a monthly basis, lead the forecasting process for the business, analyze current results against forecast and provide key driver analysis and business insight. Ensure FP&A team is structured and staffed in a way business leaders are provided insight and financial guidance to achieve short/long term financial commitments, including strategic initiatives for each of their functions.
•Develop / maintain methodology for calculating profitability by channel/business, class of trade, customer, and products. Methodology may evolve as business evolves
•Develop concise metrics reporting package to measure performance against goals, highlight areas of risk the business needs to address. Work to get a cadence and ownership within the team for those reports.
•Provide and manage ongoing financial support and business partnering to sales and marketing in the areas of new business opportunities, growth assessment and profitability, and customer specific performance for your business partners.
•Lead cross functional effort to coordinate and build the Consolidated Annual Operating Plan and Annual 3 Year Strategic Plan.
•Manage the consolidation and reporting of monthly forecasts, and reviewing all levels of data to ensure it makes sense; review and challenge assumptions coming in from the various areas of the organization
•Perform financial analysis across the various operating levels to identify and analyze trends, variances from forecast, variances from prior years and provide insight and counsel for corrective action up to and including execution ideas and timelines.
•Establish global consistency and cadence around monthly finance processes and expectations – ensure global finance team is aligned and held accountable.
•In collaboration with the Global Controller, manage the consolidation and reporting of monthly results.
•Develop and communicate the ‘story’ of monthly performance and forecasts to TMLC and FBHS leadership teams.
•Provide strategic leadership to the individual FP&A team members on their monthly responsibilities, addressing issues and coaching through new processes

Requirements QUALIFICATIONS:
•BA/BS (Master’s Degree or Certified Public Accountant preferred) in Business Administration, Accounting and/or finance.
•10+ years of increasingly more responsible experience in a financial post, or the equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable
•Demonstrated leadership skills and experience required
