This position is responsible for the linkage and business procedures related to relevant financial systems necessary for the consolidation and reporting of our financial performance. Responsible for ensuring consistent practices are used to ensure the integrity of these systems. Responsible for the maintenance of master data. Responsible for identifying, developing and supporting relevant tools to ensure data integrity and to support automation and business process improvements.

Responsible for ensuring a control framework exists around those financial systems necessary for the consolidation and reporting of our financial performance. Responsible for ensuring master data is aligned between ERP environments and other financial systems that impact the consolidation and reporting of our financial performance. Responsible for ensuring linkage between all ERP environments. 30%
Responsible for the identification, development, deployment and maintenance of relevant financial tools, techniques and systems that ensure data integrity and support automation and business process improvements. Responsible for evaluating the needs of the Finance Shared Services teams. 30%
Responsible for the development of relevant reports to support our financial reporting and audit requirements. Responsible for ensuring the integrity of these reports and the alignment with current business practices. Responsible for ensuring adequate documentation exists to support audit requirements and periodic business reviews. 20%
Responsible for supporting the integration of new acquisitions and business ventures into the financial reporting environment. Responsible for data mapping of new financial sources and ensuring that an adequate upload process is developed. 10%
Support other initiatives as directed by Senior Finance Management, including debt related activity, parent company reporting requirements and data requests, census support and special projects as required. 10%
Education & Knowledge Required
Business Degree - Major in Accounting, Finance or Business Data Systems. Must have solid background with financial systems and tools.
Experience / Skills / Abilities Required
Ten years of progressive experience working with financial systems and tools supporting accounting, audit and financial reporting requirements. Must have solid knowledge of ERP systems. Solid background with Essbase and Access or other database tools. Must have strong analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work with a diverse set of personalities and skill sets and be creative in nature. Previous accounting or financial reporting experience a plus. CPA a plus but not required.
Responsible for supervising a team of resources ranging from senior level management to entry level employees. Responsible for the leadership and supervision of key business initiatives and teams.
Communication & Contacts Required
This position will have internal contact with all levels of management within HCH, our segment management, our parent company and our auditors. Responsible for significant written and oral communication, and must be able to effectively communicate technical direction to non technical individuals and groups to facilitate the linkage between business activities and our financial systems. External contact will primarily be with external auditors, key consultants, suppliers, business advisors and diligence prospects.
Exercises a significant amount of independent judgment; works without appreciable direction.
