- Lead the U.S. Assisted (Retail) and DIY Finance teams in their efforts to partner with the U.S. business through strategic and tactical planning, decision support, financial discipline, and financial reporting.
- Lead the national and field finance teams to work across multiple functional area and support departments to gather and validate data, improve existing processes, analyze actual and forecasted results against internal and external expectations, and present recommendations to executive management.
- Initiate and implements financial modeling and analysis projects related to operational and strategic activities.

- Manage the hiring, training, evaluation and development of Finance team staff including both Manager and Analyst-level positions. Motivate, evaluate and develop associates. Foster an environment that encourages great teamwork and communication.
- Responsible for the development, communication, and execution of all phases of the business planning process for the U.S. Retail and DIY businesses. This includes strategic planning, operational and tactical planning, and periodic performance updates.
- Present to executive management interpretive and predictive financial information to assess business performance through the use of sensitivity, pro forma and cause-and-effect analysis. This analysis is often provided on an ad-hoc basis and requires both a high degree of accuracy and completion within short time frames.
- Assist in determining and assessing key performance indicators and financial drivers. By partnering with financial and business leaders, define the financial implications of each metric, creating/updating financial models that are integrated into the planning and forecasting process and assist in identifying opportunities to improve performance based on these key drivers.
- Lead the target-setting process for the U.S. Retail business, which is an essential part of the planning process for the field. This involves the translation of the company financial plan into a field budget, considering past performance, initiatives and geographical differences among districts.
- Key financial partner with the pricing and analytics teams to ensure appropriate application of pricing and volume assumptions are included in our financial models.
- Support the development and execution of financial and metric reporting packages to be shared with executive management on a monthly basis.
- Support the preparation of presentations and materials to the Board of Directors, senior executives or others.
What you'll bring to the team...
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA preferred.
- Demonstrated success in completion of listed objectives in similar role.
- Typically 10 years progressive business experience including demonstrated experience in leadership, strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting, and project management across functional units.
- Five years of management experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Experience evaluating profit dynamics of business.
- Strong analytical skills including analysis of actuals, forecasts and budgets, risks and/or opportunities. Proven conceptual financial skills.
- Effective verbal and written communications skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Effective presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other functional groups.
- Demonstrated organizational and planning capabilities. Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects, detail-oriented.

- Highly proficient in the use Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Adaptive Planning and Workday application experience also beneficial.
