About the Role:
The Director, Finance Technology, will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing large complex Finance digital transformation initiatives and other finance technology projects. Will work collaboratively with finance business stakeholders, implementation partners, and technology/data stakeholders to drive change in the most effective way possible, leading the project planning and execution through agile methodologies. The Director, Finance Technology, is responsible for providing leadership guidance and technology vision to implement strategy and roadmap to fully support Finance transformation and digitize finance business functions and processes. This role also collaborates closely with the Enterprise Architecture leadership for strategy, design, implementation, and support for cloud and API services.
We are on a journey to a 100% Agile, Cloud/API & DevSecOps driven technology organization. This position will play a key role in accelerating our Finance Transformation journey by implementing critical Financials Cloud systems and architecting solutions that support future needs.
Once Here You Will:
Leads the strategy and vision around the development of future-state Finance technology delivery models to ensure value realization is achieved.
Technology leader who understand Finance business needs and can take ownership of decision-making, team engagement and coordinating resources for high-stakes Finance projects
Provide leadership and support for Strategic large project like Finance Transformation.
Ensure process controls are in place and that all staff adhere to strict audit / SOX requirements
Mentor and coach team on the best practices, system design principles, and computing industry trends
Build authentic relationships with the team and business partners that empower them to lead long-term collaborations across the organization and deliver successful business outcomes
Strong financial management experience for both operating and project budgets
Generate and present executive level reports and analyses for CFO & CIO that provides guidance, insight, and recommendations around current Technology investments.

What You’ll Bring:
Experience of driving and reporting on progress of large Finance transformation projects.
Expertise in and experience of implementing Financial ERP systems as a functional consultant for business stakeholders.
Experience in designing operating models, governance and communication frameworks.
Extensive knowledge and experience in Finance systems like PeopleSoft Finance, Oracle ERP, Sourcing and Procurement systems, Cloud applications.
Deep understanding of Accounting, Treasury, FP&A and Procure to pay business domain from the systems implementation standpoint
Partnership with Finance business and Architects to define technology strategy for the Financial core Systems and build roadmaps.
Determine staffing strategy for both short-term and long-term resource needs.
Recruit and mentor new hire and existing team members.
Experience with Agile Methodologies in a distributed team environment is a plus.

Working knowledge on AWS Cloud Infrastructure
Must have proven experience managing teams of at least 10 to15 resources
Experience in all aspects of software delivery management – analysis, design, estimating, and implementing technology architectures

Expertise in enterprise architecture practices, specifically in information, application, infrastructure and security
