DUTIES: Conduct strategic analysis on insurance and pension plan M&A deals for continued expansion in the region. Responsible for due diligence and valuation of potential transactions, as well as communication to senior management. Perform analysis on existing operations and potential acquisition targets by examining financial models on different operating scenarios, pro-forma financial statements, transaction assumptions and required capital. Develop strong knowledge of business models and distribution strategies, key performance indicators, and product mix to provide strategic support to local operations in the region. 5-15% national and international travel is required to various and anticipated client sites. REQTS: Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Manager of Institutional Business, Institutional Advisor, Financial Analyst or a related position.
The employer will accept pre- or post-Master's degree experience. Must have five (5) years of experience in Finance with: multinational corporations and local Latin American firms in a finance or advisory function; presenting financial analysis and recommendations to senior management; implementing strategic and financial analysis to evaluate attractiveness of potential segments; developing and executing planning and analysis models to support business decisions, distribution channels, and product initiatives; implementing corporate strategy and defining best practice standards in accordance with corporate guidelines; enhanced modeling skills using Excel and building executive presentations in PowerPoint; providing advice to business units that support distribution channels, products or service initiatives.
Must have two (2) years of experience: conducting due diligence of M&A transactions for ongoing growth in the LATAM region; facilitating and successfully executing capital initiatives including dividend distributions; and utilizing financial tools such as Bloomberg.
