Director Finance and Administration for $ 15 Million Revenue Manufacturing Business.
This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting functions, integrating accounting and operational activities, forecasting and budgeting, handling tax matters, preparing financial reports, and ensuring organizational financial stability. This position will also supervise administrative functions, including Human Resources and Information Technology, and other operational functions as assigned by the President.
Manage accounting function
Analyze financial data and provide results to management; use such analyses to assist President in solving operational problems and facilitating operational changes.
Streamline accounting functions and integrate them with operational functions. Evaluate and assist in managing risk
Coordinate financial statement audit or review. Develop and analyze ERP system bills of materials
Maintain proper inventory controls and records. Develop KPIs and benchmarks and report results
Monitor and modify ERP system as needed. Administer ERP and other systems and applications. Assist the President in improving and optimizing use of the company’s ERP system. Continuously improve and update the costing function in the ERP system. Where applicable, coordinate integration of ERP and other systems. Work with various departments to utilize ERP system efficiently. Coordinate with ERP provider, President and various departments the creation of reports to aid in analyzing sales, costs, and operational measures
Manage non-technical operational functions, if assigned by President: Receiving, shipping, Order entry, Customer Invoicing
Manage outside IT function: Ensure IT provider is delivering service consistent with original or modified specifications
Analyze monthly billing and report on costs, Coordinate formulation of IT strategy with outside IT provider
Manage HR function, Review payroll reports and ensure employees are paid properly and timely
Ensure proper internal controls over HR and payroll are in place and functioning, Analyze payroll and benefit costs and review with President
Complete other duties and projects as assigned by President

Strong systems background with ERP and accounting systems, Outstanding analytical skills
Ability to meet deadlines on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and /or Finance, Business
