Position at Zones
The Director or ERP Implementation will be a key member of the leadership team whose charter is to successfully rollout and then enhance our cloud-based ERP and CRM systems, globally. We are looking for an individual who wants to make an impact and grow professionally. The VP will provide technical leadership and managerial oversight for functional and development teams, including external consultants. His or her job is to understand not only the technical environment, but also the functional requirements of an enterprise wide project that spans multiple countries. The project entails configuration, integration, customization, extensions, testing, migration, deployment, support and enhancement of the Zones ERP and CRM platform running on Microsoft Dynamics 365. This role will be involved in all stages of Zones’ Microsoft D365 lifecycle.
ERP and CRM systems are the lifeblood of any enterprise. This is especially true at Zones. The person in this role has to factor in the people, process and technology needs of the organization while planning and executing the D365 rollout. This Director will partner with various internal stakeholders (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain and Integration Labs) and with external partners to ensure on-budget and on-time deployment in each geography. From the outset, this Director must be cognizant of the long-term impact of early decisions. Future business needs and growth areas cannot be handicapped by decisions made during planning or in early geographies. While leveraging state-of-the-art features of the new platform, we must balance the unique workflows already well-implemented in our existing systems that can be easily migrated to the cloud. Other critical aspects of the Zones IT environment, such as Reporting, Batch Jobs, EDI, Ecommerce must not only continue to work effectively, but they should also be improved through this project.
