As a leader in the Digital Strategy and Innovation team, this individual willdevelop the long-term digital innovation strategy for priority areas across theenterprise, including the Retail, PBM, MinuteClinic, and Specialty business units. This is a unique role that will marry business and strategic rigor with an innovator’s creativity. This role will be part of an important opportunity toinfluence the 3-5 year strategic vision in the most important growth areas ofthe business through the lens of digital innovation.
This role requires a person who can take complex problems and formulate a compelling approach to drive to solutions, applies a think customer mentality, can balance quantitative and qualitative inputs to drive to recommendation and is an outstanding communicator who is comfortable working cross-functionally, presenting to the most senior levels of leadership at a Fortune 7 company and influencing different personalities and perspectives. In addition, this person willneed to have a strong business instinct, track record for delivering results and theability to help structure large amounts of information around complex and far reaching digital strategic topics in healthcare and retail. This person must be an entrepreneurial, high-energy, intellectually curious individual who can thrive in ahigh demand, performance-driven environment.
*Synthesizing and communicating complex information from disparate sources intoa clear compelling story that helps key internal decision makers commit to action
*Working closely with key stakeholders (Business Units, Finance, IT, Legal) tocreate and deliver meaningful Digital strategies and enables CVS Caremark competitive differentiation
*Designing and co-facilitating brainstorming and ideation workshops with business owners and subject matter experts
*Building business cases leveraging internal data, secondary research andadvanced modeling skills that is both quantitative and qualitative (i.e. developing and applying educated assumptions)
*Conducting secondary research, including the summary, collation and synthesisof existing research
*Partnering with colleagues in Marketing Research to design and conduct primary research of patients, customers, physicians and payers in support of key strategic initiatives
5+ years experience management strategy consulting.
5 + years of experience with analytical and quantitative skills and experience using data
and metrics to substantiate assumptions, drive and present actions and recommendations in order to influence senior leadership.
5 + years of experience in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in adeadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
5 + years working experience within matrix environments and demonstrating theability to work cross-functionally.
5 + years in building and maintaining effective partnerships and have a passion for digital and ability to be decisive in ambiguous situations.
5 + years of experience in team building and leadership involving direct, indirect, and non-reports.
Experience with IT/digital product development with consumer-facing digital products in Retail, Healthcare industry.
Experience with financial reporting in for a large enterprise sized organization.
Bachelor's Degree, MBA Preferred
