Facebook’s Enterprise Engineering team is responsible for building integrated, scalable, and robust enterprise products that run our company- most of which are built from the ground up. We are in search of a leader to focus on accelerating the design and build of extensible platforms and components that accelerates development for business functions across Facebook including: Finance, Data Center Operations, Supply Chain, Facilities, Security, Controls, and Compliance

Required Skills:

  1. Lead and manage a team of software engineers who are developing tooling for our enterprise products

  2. Lead technical design and build frameworks and components

  3. Focus on driving impact through rapid iterations

  4. Identify opportunities to share technology across teams

  5. Foster a culture of better engineering through, mentoring, feedback, and metrics

  6. Develop long-term strategies and influence organizational direction on engineering

  7. Move our current codebases to consistent abstractions and frameworks

  8. Solve local engineering issues that slow down the business applications product teams

  9. Communicate across product functions and drive enterprise engineering initiatives

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience

  2. 10+ years of demonstrated experience managing technical teams

  3. Demonstrated coding skills in one of the following: C++, Java, Javascript, or PHP

  4. Experience leading, technical cross-functional development initiatives from conception to end
