About the role:

Financeit is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Director, Enterprise Business Development, who will be the driving force behind generating new sales and prospect Enterprise relationships to fuel the company for growth. You will be responsible for prospecting and closing large accounts, and achieving account level revenue and profitability targets. You will play a key role in supporting Financeit's growth objectives by developing strategic business development plans, identifying potential new contractors, getting them approved and using our platform to fund financing volume. Our ideal candidate has had this sales experience working with OEM, Retail or Home Services businesses.

What you'll do:

  • Cultivate executive relationships and a portfolio of new and existing enterprise clients
  • Achieve account-level revenue and profitability targets for an assigned portfolio of accounts
  • Identify opportunities to profitably deliver more value to clients
  • Develop, maintain and manage strong relationships with potential new large accounts
  • Develop strategic business development plans with leadership and support teams
  • Develop professional proposals offering compelling solutions
  • Use expert product knowledge and sales consultation to increase partner activity
  • Partner with marketing, sales, and production managers to create and implement business strategies for attracting and signing new contractors or OEM and Big Box Retailors
  • Create and share best practices

What you'll need to succeed:

  • BA degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience with business development, and hands-on face to face direct sales
  • 4-5 years of experience in the Retail, OEM, or Home Services industry is preferred
  • Experience in selling complex workflow software with Trade/Construction projects and processes
  • Experience in solving complex problems within the OEM or Trade management industry involving winning over many stakeholders responsible in making the business decision to purchase a solution you are selling.
  • OEM experience is a must or Retail Big Box knowledge and process
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing successful business-to-business sales and service relationships in an asset
  • Experience working in financial services is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Experience using Looker, Salesforce and Microsoft Office programs such as Excel and PowerPoint are assets
  • Strong customer service and retail background are pluses
