Job Description

Directs, plans and organizes the implementation of clinician and patient experience strategy across the enterprise. Oversees the daily operations and staff responsible for patient and customer experience learning and development. Develops, organizes and evaluates organizational customer experience curriculum, training, educational materials and experiences.

1. Directs, plans, organizes and evaluates the daily operations and staff responsible for patient and customer learning and development.

– Recommends implements and adheres to approved operating goals, objectives and budget. Reports operational performance, justification and/or corrective action

– Ensures implementation, and evaluation of operating policies, procedures and processes

– Selects, develops, manages and evaluates direct reports; and oversees the selection, development, management and evaluation of indirect reports.

2. Develops, organizes and evaluates Health System customer experience curriculum, training, educational materials and experiences.

– Monitors and evaluates internal and external healthcare and educational trends and their impact on customer experience and employee engagement.

– Utilizes patient/customer experience data analytics, evidenced-based best practices, and System values to develop patient and customer experience learning objectives and target goals.

– Develops, designs and oversees implementation of patient and customer experience curriculum and training based on established learning objectives and target goals.

– Ensures learning programs effectively meet patient and customer experience learning objectives and target goals. Reports on learning program outcomes to leadership

– Develops learning needs assessments and educational offerings for culture leader development.

3. Participates in OPCE committees and functions that support patient and family centered-care goals across the enterprise.

4. Selects, develops, manages and evaluates direct reports; and oversees the selection, development, management and evaluation of indirect reports.

5. Develops, implements and evaluates and shares patients experience research.

6. Builds and maintains productive inter/intra departmental and vendor relationships to optimize operations.

7. Performs related duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Care, Education, Organizational Development or related field, required. Master's Degree, preferred.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years progressively responsible related experience, required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning, organizational behavior, and instructional design systems, required.
  • Strong communication, presentation, relationship building and organization skills, required.

Preferred Background: MD, DO, PA, NP, or RN
