JOB OVERVIEW

The Director of eCommerce will serve as strategic architect and drive the execution for digital initiatives (email, website, social and SEO). Will establish the strategic marketing plans via the various digital channels including: online, e-catalogs, social, mobile and any strategic partnerships. Driving revenue and presenting branded and product content to the world optimizing consumer experience.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support development of the vision and strategy, roadmap and operating plan for all of digital marketing
  • Responsible for digital strategies and marketing plans that leverage existing traditional plans (print, creative) as well development of unique content for digital delivery.
  • Develop strategies that bring to life our brand positioning in the digital landscape.
  • Create standards and the tools to execute in the local market or region
  • Service country marketing teams as required and develop digital strategies and share best practices
  • Management of Digital Agencies
  • Service all company Brands as assigned (Callaway, Odyssey, Top Flite)
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for the business by sharing insights, leanings and trends in a consistent and timely manner. Analyze industry trends, competitive threats, expansion opportunities and internal performance in digital
  • Actively partner and lead all cross-functional partners including key stakeholders, public relations, social media, .com, creative, database strategy, advertising, trade marketing, launch campaign teams to ensure consistent message and focus across all consumer touch points.
  • Aggressively monitor the app space for new and engaging content
  • Building and creating a relationship with our consumers (CRM)
  • Manage SEO projects
  • Manage maintenance of web site content
  • Manage overall web marketing budget, spend, measure appropriate metrics, enhance ROI and report using advanced analytics.
  • Effectively work cross functionally and with multi-site locations

General

  • Deliver digital strategic plans
  • Manages daily aspects of all digital initiatives, relying on both internal and external resources
  • Leads direction on creative, content, IT and other teams to deliver effective and scalable platforms
  • Optimizes business processes through customer-focused digital solutions
  • Identifies and develops key strategic alliances both internally and externally
  • Champions and oversees the implementation of world-class customer experience

Web

  • Oversee the continuous evolution of all internet, intranet and extranet and web sites and applications
  • Establishes and aligns a proper production team to drive the ongoing success of all web properties
  • Develops a roadmap that aligns user and business needs
  • Identifies and oversees implementation of 3rd party vendors and technologies to drive an effective customer experience
  • Analyzes customer analytics for objective decision-making

eCommerce

  • Key strategic contributor for all ecommerce initiatives
  • Roadmap development and management of all future ecommerce initiatives
  • Continuous evaluation and optimization of ecommerce platforms to drive effective sales growth

Tablet & Mobile

  • Leadership and opportunity identification of all mobile and tablet solutions
  • Salesforce (or other comparable CRM) enablement and process optimization through mobile technologies
  • CRM integration within tablet and mobile applications

Marketing

  • Identifies and implements internet marketing best practices across the organization
  • Aligns internal departments for campaign creation and launches
  • Effective management of SEM, SEO, social and email campaigns
  • Continuously reviews campaign analytics for campaign optimization

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

  • Extensive knowledge and experiences to generate a executable strategy
  • Extensive experience in managing a worldwide CRM platform (development phase preferred)
  • Exceptional organizational and persuasion skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising - related field
  • MBA Preferred
  • Experience with leading international and multi-faceted sites
  • Minimum of 10 years related experience
  • Management experience required
