Job Description: 

Role Description: Responsible for managing the strategic direction of the Network relationships (credit and debit) to support bank wide strategies and priorities, manage all external and internal relationships, optimize financial benefits from the Networks, and ensure communication enterprise wide.

Key Accountabilities

 

Relationship Management: 

·         Conduct daily communication with the Networks

·         Facilitate, provide guidance, and report on use of Network Funds

·         Consult and advise business functions on Network asset opportunities

·         Develop and execute interactions with key executives and others as requested

·         Manage communication across enterprise business lines regarding Network contracts, opportunities, challenges, and commitments

·         Communicate with senior leadership to share key insights, opinions, and business path recommendations

 

Contracts: Negotiate ongoing financial benefits with Networks; conduct reviews with Finance for adherence to contractual obligations and review of opportunities for further maximizing profitability, discounts, incentives, and volume

 

Network Performance: Manage monthly reporting and tracking; conduct meetings with Finance, CDM, and appropriate business units to gather and report current performance against goals and contractual obligations

 

Portfolio Growth: Advise on product mix strategy to ensure balanced financial impact for long-term profitability; communicate information and new opportunities from the Networks to enhance product sets, introduce new differentiators, create efficiency, and increase profitability

 

Communications:  Simplify Network interactions to improve information flow and speed of business decision making; ensure Network information is distributed to the relevant audiences; continuously identify, develop, and review content for Network Connections SharePoint site; anticipate, resolve, or escalate risks and issues

 

Brand Management: Act as liaison to provide adherence to guidelines; ensure understanding of guidelines and provide feedback to business units for all campaigns

 

Governance and Compliance:  Oversee strategies and approaches for governance, process strategy, regulatory changes, and capability releases; advise and consult with internal stakeholders on Network process activities; complete the annual Enhanced Vendor Management Risk Assessment

 

Innovation: Network liaison and advocate for introduction of new innovation and services; facilitate and drive Network conversations regarding trending topics

 

Bin Strategy:  Organize key Network changes impacting the enterprise; identify and evaluate opportunity to clean up Dirty Bins and advise enterprise of options and impacts; prepare organization for mandatory requirement of Numeric changes to be implemented by 2022

  

 Job Qualifications: 

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Education:

·         Bachelor's Degree Required

·     Strong planning, process, analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills

·         Strong interpersonal skills including relationship management

·         Effective written and verbal communication skills

·         Self-motivated team player with vision and initiative

·         Ability to multitask in a cross-functional environment

·         7-10 years card payments related work experience
