The Digital Services leader is a vital new role critical to the growth strategy, leading high margin digital sales while collaborating with the business to create and sell new advanced services. Your primary role is commercial leadership (strategy, people, and execution) to focus the organization on high-impact priorities to profitably grow advanced digital services.
The primary focus will be to increase the Aftermarket business from ~15% to >20% of total company sales. This will require exceeding 20% growth every year while improving the current gross margins and earnings as a percentage of sales.
Partnering with the other business units, this role will help to ensure the best overall customer experience with a focus on delivering MVP service solutions and a comprehensive service value proposition to increase customer propensity to buy new products and services to grow current business.
You also have:
- Solid understanding of business functions Sales, Marketing, Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sourcing and Logistics.
- Acute strategic and analytical skills
- Strong teaming skills, collaborative style
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science or related field
- Experience working on business analytics projects
- Experience with Square Parts & Consumables
- Experience with Repair & Maintenance Installation
- Experience with Inspection Specialized services / remote services
- Experience with Sale of new Industrial solutions
What You’ll Do:
As a Director, Service Sales, you’ll be a part of our Industrial team located remotely.
Specifically, you’ll:
- Provide sales leadership (strategy, people, and execution) to focus the organization on high-impact priorities to profitably grow aftermarket parts, traditional and advanced services.
- Increase the Aftermarket business from ~15% to >20% of total company sales. This will require exceeding 10% growth every year while improving the current gross margins and earnings as a percentage of sales.
- Partner with the other business unites, this role will help to ensure the best overall customer experience with a focus on delivering MVP service solutions and a comprehensive service value proposition to increase customer propensity to buy new products and services to grow current business.
- Have regular interaction with EVP of Stanley Industrial, and occasional interaction with CFO and/or CEO of Stanley Black and Decker.
