Within the Digital team, our Digital Personalization team is building out and implementing leading-edge capabilities to develop real-time Omni-channel decisioning using big-data technologies and advanced machine learning (AI) tools and algorithms fueled by 360 customer data. These cloud-based platforms are being built in collaboration with top-tier technology partner components using lean agile teams.

CVS Health is seeking a Director of Digital Personalization as part of the Digital Personalization team. In this role, using a deep understanding of customer-centric business practices, you will help define the path for CVS, starting with our Front Store retail business, to deliver highly personalized offers and communications to our customers. This work will entail both strategy & deep technical product management. You will be defining the vision & business case for major programs, laying out the strategy and technology roadmap, leading a team of product managers to ensure high-quality builds/executions, and working with the business to drive value. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Defining the vision and roadmap to advance CVS’s personalization efforts centered on continuous advancements to our customer segmentation and message orchestration
  • Staying abreast of the latest technology advancements and offering new insights to our business partners on how to drive business value with the tools we have as well as through enhancements and new tools
  • Partnering with our business counterparts, prioritizing amongst a portfolio of projects to improve value creation and aligning on KPIs to measure success
  • Owning technology product management of multiple technology systems and processes (leading 2-5 product managers)
  • Working closely with IT and functional teams to design, implement, and operationalize personalization technology infrastructure and platform strategy to improve existing operations
  • Leading business process transformation/change management and implementation efforts
  • Partnering with IT leadership to successfully manage and develop relationships with our technology providers and vendor partners
  • Maintaining a high level of productivity and quality while supporting aggressive roadmaps for business systems and process transformations

Required Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience in product development or management within a digital setting, (ideally using agile development methods) OR 
MBA plus minimum 3 years of post MBA top-tier consulting experience

Minimum 5-10+ years of experience implementing large back-end platforms/systems (ideally experience with both on premise and cloud implementation) OR 
MBA plus minimum 3 years of post MBA top-tier consulting experience 

Minimum 5+ years of experience partnering with multiple groups (IT, Marketing) to define and execute on a roadmap OR MBA plus minimum 3 years of post MBA top-tier consulting experience 

Minimum 10+ years of experience in roles which require initiative to drive projects, tenacity to delivery results in a complex environment, and the ability to lead across many projects OR 
MBA plus minimum 3 years of post MBA top-tier consulting experience 

Minimum 8-10+ years of experience using quantitative skills with the ability to link product design and features to strategic objectives while using hard data and metrics to substantiate assumptions and recommendations OR 
MBA plus minimum 3 years of post MBA top-tier consulting experience 

Minimum 5+ years of people management 

Minimum 10+ years of experience in roles requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the creation/delivery of succinct executive-level presentations 

Preferred Qualifications
Management consulting experience 

CRM, ESP, marketing cloud, or other personalization technology experience 

Experience overseeing processes required to maintain large scale reporting and insights systems 

Retail experience 

Experience with loyalty programs
