Material is hiring a Director of Digital Marketing to take our company’s growth to the next level. You’ll be our content promoter, and digital brand ambassador. Bring a demonstrated track record of creating and implementing effective campaigns that will grow Material’s digital demand machine. You’ll be a vital part in continuing to grow and expand our digital footprint and drive new customer acquisition across multiple platforms (website, social media, SEO, email, paid media).
The Digital Marketing Director develops and implements strategies and tactics that grow, engage, and retain Material customers, tracks conversions, and constantly revises strategies to optimize performance that aligns with company objectives. This role reports directly to the VP of Marketing.
Material is a global insights, design, and technology consultancy that leverages behavioral science and analytics to build customer-centric products and experiences for the world’s leading B2C and B2B brands.
Digital Strategy – In partnership with the VP of marketing, dramatically evolve our digital marketing strategy, then implement to deliver expected business results. Digital Marketing Budget – Make the case for, and then effectively manage the digital marketing budget.
CRM/Email Marketing (Salesforce/Pardot preferred). Analytics, Attribution & Digital Marketing Performance – Working with internal resources, develop and refine a Digital Marketing effectiveness measurement system to apply key learnings in order to measure, validate and optimize ROI across the Digital Marketing mix.
Process optimization – Develop the processes and procedures that allow for effective and efficient delivery of programs and results.
Lead Generation – You’ll be responsible for generating the majority of MQL and SQLs for Material. Prioritizing implementation of tactical plans to deliver the maximum number of quality leads that convert to funnel opportunities and ultimately revenue.
To include UX, structure, navigation, content strategy.
Campaign & Program Management – You’ll work closely with the Director of Content Marketing and content team to create, deliver and optimize campaigns promoting Material’s thought leadership, brand awareness initiatives, etc.
6+ years in B2B marketing roles. Solid experience working with automation platforms and CRMs (Salesforce / Pardot preferred). Experience managing organic and paid marketing channels. EXPERIENCE & SKILLSET.
Team leadership – Experience of managing and mentoring direct reports. A team member who loves the big picture stuff as well as getting involved in the details – combined with a passion for delivering the numbers.
We also need a Marketing leader who understands funnel conversion, and how to leverage Digital in a B2B context. B2B Digital Marketing – 6+ years with a B2B company is preferred. Digital Competency – We are seeking a tactical Digital Marketing expert, someone who understands how to leverage the full digital toolkit to find, engage, and convert customers.
The interview process will include an expectation that the candidate will be able to show KPI’s that can back this up.
Capability building, backed by results – Someone who has dramatically grown a digital capability, with KPI’s and references that can back this up.
You have proven success in developing online and offline go-to-market plans, performance analysis, webinars and digital marketing including SEM, display, social, and email.
Highly analytical and data-driven.
You’ll be creating email campaigns, publishing content, writing social media posts, etc.
