THE DIRECTOR OF DIGITAL LEARNING SOLUTIONS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DEVELOPING AND DRIVING CONSISTENT, BEST-IN-CLASS, LEARNING EXPERIENCE (BOTH CONTENT AND DELIVERY) ACROSS ALL LEARNING MODALITIES AS PART OF THE DIGITAL LEARNING ECOSYSTEM. THE ROLE PARTNERS WITH ALL LINES OF BUSINESSES (AND FUNCTIONS) TO STRATEGIZE AND EXECUTE LEARNING SOLUTIONS FOR OUR CLIENTS (I.E. FINANCIAL ADVISORS)
THE ROLE
THIS IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR SOMEONE WHO IS EXPERIENCED IN LEARNING BUT IS CONSTANTLY CHALLENGING THEMSELVES TO LEARN ABOUT CHANGING TECHNOLOGY AND PUSH THE STATUS QUO WHEN IT COMES TO CONTENT DELIVERY. A PERSON WHO IS SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE WOULD BE INSTRUMENTAL IN HELPING CHANGE THE PERCEPTION OF TRAINING BY DEVELOPING A DIGITAL LEARNING EXPERIENCE THAT DRIVES HIGH ENGAGEMENT AND BUSINESS OUTCOMES.
Strategy: Champion the engagement and collaboration with our business partners, including but not limited to Client Segment Leads, Content SMEs, Marketing, and LRC, to execute on the firm’s e-learning strategy and prioritize competing initiatives
Design: Responsible for working with external vendors and/or internal partners in leading the development of digital learning content (design and build), which includes maintenance and refinement of existing materials as well as brainstorming new content development across all lines of function within FI
Execute: Leverage a wide toolkit of technology learning solutions to create an experience that is not only appropriate for the audience/content but also is scalable, repeatable, and cost-effective for the stated objective
Engage: Deliver a live immersive experience at key stakeholder events across major US cities called the Inside Track Series with audiences of 100+ clients
Measurement: Create an infrastructure to report on the effectiveness of our learning program by analyzing usage, adoption, and consumption across our key client segments allowing us to (re)calibrate our strategy accordingly
Lead: Last but not the least, act as the primary contact regarding the day to day management and administration of the learning platform. Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, product offering and client direction to anticipate and accommodate shifts in the business need and priorities
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelors or Master’s degree in business management, organizational development, learning and development
5+ years’ experience in designing, developing, and implementing instructional design solutions preferably within financial services industry
Proven ability to manage multiple, complex assignments with proven ability to assess priorities while delivering high quality results
Ability to take initiatives on successfully designing and executing portfolios of learning programs
